Using this site
The content on this website is for general information. It is not advice for your specific situation until we have agreed on an engagement in writing.
You may share and link to our pages, but please do not copy large parts of the site or present our work as your own.
Engagements and fees
Every project is governed by a separate written proposal that sets out the scope, fees, timeline and payment terms. If anything here conflicts with that proposal, the proposal applies.
Fixed fees are agreed before work starts. Retainers are billed monthly in advance and can be ended with 30 days written notice after the minimum term.
Confidentiality
We treat everything you share with us as confidential, before and after an engagement, and we only use it to do the work you asked for.
Content and trademarks
Text, images and the Westport Advisory name and mark belong to Westport Advisory or are used with permission. Please ask before reusing them.
Links to other sites
We link to other websites when they are useful. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Liability
We do our best to keep this site accurate and available, but we cannot guarantee it is always error-free or online. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from using the site.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Connecticut.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continued use of the site means you accept it.
